  1. Joe Ryan better pitch a shutout tomorrow or we have virtually no chance of winning. And a shutout might not be good enough. Sigh!
  2. I hold both Jax and our putrid offense equally liable for this, if it ends as a loss
  3. Yet another game where a relative lack of offense may cost us a winnable game. Three innings left to change that narrative, at least for tonight.
  4. Bullpen fails yet again. Imagine that.
  5. How many more games like this before the team batting average reaches the Mendoza line! Already under .220 and still dropping every game.
  6. Me, too. Yet another in a long list of disgusting performances.
  7. Trying out for the Bad News Bears?? Seems like it sometimes.
  8. What an abomination this team has become! IMO, this game is now all but over, as I don't see us scoring even one more run, let alone two.
  9. Last year, he was a revelation. Not so this year.
  10. Would have been. Lately, it seems to me that he's been something less than impressive. Seems to give up at least one run every outing.
  11. And we scored a run without the benefit of a homer. Another positive.
  12. They seem to be showing more plate discipline thus far tonight. That's an encouraging sign.
  13. Sadly, that's a pretty tall order for this offense.
  14. Whenever we change that, our fortunes will likely change for the better. I just hope that comes sooner rather than later.
  15. Everyone seemingly trying to be a hero at the plate and, not surprisingly, being unsuccessful at it. Opposing teams likely know that and tell their pitchers to not give us anything good to hit because there's a high likelihood we'll get ourselves out. Once we calm down and stop trying to be the offensive hero, things will likely change for the better.
  16. I share a lot of that sentiment, too.
  17. I'm definitely not one of those types.
  18. I'm just funny that way sometimes. No logical explanation for it.
