The Xmas eve blizzard of 1983. It was claimed we had -90 windchill. It's the only time I ever had frost bite. My folks lived on a farm, and everyone was there. My brother had split from his wife, and she was 13 miles down the road at her parents, he wanted to go see her at ten o clock and wants to be stopped. Off he went is his Maada convertible. No cell phones, so he was told to call when he got there. And of course he didn't, and me and another brother, two scoop shovels and a FWD Pontiac went out in the storm. A mile later we ran into a huge snow bank and no car, no brother. While standing out on the highway cursing his ignorance we saw a couple bouncing headlines. Two locals had went out for a 45 mile ride on their snowmobiles and found him walking on the highway. If not, he would have been toast. His car was stalled, and he was lost. Sheesh
