  1. Ok, I know what the problem is. We need a rally icon. Rally Mantis, Rally Monkey! We need ideas people! Let's all chip in and help this team find its own identify. Difficult to get into the dugout, but a Rally Rhinoceros would be my choice!
  2. It's not often that Dick Bert make an observation that I care to repeat. But they pointed out that the Twins gave up quite a few runs whilst winning 3of 4. You can only mask poor pitching with hitting so long.
  3. The Twins pitching coaches are to pitchers, as Dutch Elm disease is to Ash trees.
  4. I have done both. Little known fact! It is I who was the inspiration for the "I've fallen and I can't get up" commercial. .
  5. I have only played beer volleyball, so I don't know any real VB rules, but I think they rotate positions also. Maybe Molly was watching the Olympics?
  6. Fortunately we don't have any other players like him!
  7. Hmmm. Let's see? We have our SS at third, our MiLB 2B at SS, our 3B at first, an IF in RF a LF in CF and Robbie in LF? And Kurt is behind the plate. What could go wrong?
  8. No? Hmm that's maybe a double negative? So was that a yes? Or a no? Maybe?
  9. He's either becoming one the greatest hitters in the game, or????????
  10. Dont forget the zombies!
  11. In airline venacular, a whatnot is when the plane plummets straight into the ground! But I have no idea what a or b means?
  12. There are times I would like to suggest the Twins play defense like zombies, but that's not fair to zombies!
  13. Are there zombie crows?
  14. I missed something, what's the deal with the zombies?
  15. ?.........just for that, I will get you your drinks for free!
  16. A fourth OF really should be able to play CF a little. That is not in RB's repertoire. Add the fact his arm is almost too weak to play LF, I am not sure RF is on his "can do" list either.
  17. Thank you!
  18. He seems to be able to flat out hit, he doesn't seem to need a specific pitch like some guys, and while he isn't a BB machine, he isn't Rosario either. His offens definitely plays. My memory of his MiLB is not just a lack of arm, but also a little inconsistent with the glove? That said, so far I take him over Nunez of EE. But given my druthers, on this club, at this time, I would trade Dozier and whatever, for a solid SP, move Polanco there, and install a glove first SS. I keep hearing Vielma can pick it, but I see he has like 15 errors this year. Maybe we don't have a SS who can really really field? Should that surprise me?
  19. Sanos range might cancel his glove, and his bat also does its part. And this is one of the positions where you make those trade offs. Not behind the plate, at SS, or in CF. while the Twins won't contend for anything except draft choices until they get some decent SP, that doesn't mean they can't start balancing their lineup with hitters on the corners, and some defense in the middle. I will repeat a past observation: If Trevor Plouffe is your cleanup hitter (and an intregal part of your lineup), you got big problems!! It does not take advanced metrics to figure that out, just common sense!
  20. I hope soon, as our history with such "experiments" makes me wonder why it's taking them so long? :)
  21. Please! We have to have an OF who can catch a fly ball somewhere?
  22. I know he's toxic on here, but he is a better OF than RB.
  23. I think we need to reconsider the matter of DanSan in LF.
