    I don't think there is a scenario where either NY coach is there next year. I'd place them both above Eberflus and Vrabel. If Fields starts playing well, Eberflus stays. Vrabel, it seems to me, is very well liked although he might leave to go to NE.

    He might not be first ballot but he'll get in. And deservedly so.

    The second half of the Saints game, their defense came with outside blitzes, keeping him in the pocket. We haven't adjusted to that.

    I think this is kinda my thinking too. It's been clear since the second half of the Saints game that defenses were going to 1) blitz from the outside to keep him in the pocket area and/or 2) stunt to confuse the guards. We haven't seemed to adapt to either of these at all. KOC has some good plays but a lot of them take too long to develop and Dobbs isn't a pocket passer, he's going to bolt if the rush gets there. Cousins stood in the pocket and took a lot of hits. So, maybe Mullins is a better fit. I admit, he played a lot better than I expected. But next year, I think we either resign Cousins or draft McCarthy.

    Shockingly, you're pessimistic. Lots of drops and bad pass protecting. Mullins ain't going to be better and is probably a lot worse.

    Not sure if anyone watching steelers/pats but the NFL's concussion system is a joke. First play, Watt gets crushed by a leg up the head, stays down, looks dazed, out for one play.

    Yankees be Yankees. I think having Juan Soto in New York is good for baseball. The best players need to be seen more. Trout and Ohtani have been wasted in LA. Soto, Tatis and Machedo were wasted in SD.
