    Terrible news in the Chief family. My best friend from high school passed away. We played ball together, and made a point to get together and see a game at least a couple times a year. If anything, he loved baseball more than me. He visited me in my dreams last night, and I figured it was to say a final goodbye. Nope, he was all pumped up. "Chief...they have baseball in heaven!" he said. "And it's just like you're 18 again!" "There is a bit of bad news, though, old friend." he continued. "We have a game tomorrow afternoon, and you're leading off and playing second base."

    So I was in the hospital earlier today, asking at the front desk about a friend. I heard this voice ask the receptionist if he could get an appointment, as soon as possible. I couldn't see anything, however, and was wondering where the guy was. Then I heard "I'm suffering from temporary bouts of invisibility," same voice. I thought to myself, well, that explains that. I was waiting to visit my friend, when I heard the receptionist call out, "Wherever you are...uh...you'll have to come back. The doctor can't see you today."
