  1. I'd be surprised if they DO bring Verlander back on short rest. I guess we'll see. Let's get Game 3 and make em have to decide.
  2. Not only home field, but Sonny Gray and Pablo Lopez on full rest for 2 of those 3. Houston can only get 1 game of 3 from their top 2 starters, unless Verlander comes back Wednesday on 3 days rest.
  3. Judgement calls aren't reviewable. And IMO there was no obstruction in any case. If Lewis was a little more canny, he moves left, into the catcher, and he might get the call. But as it played out, he wasn't obstructed.
  4. That "umpire scorecard" is literally a couple college kids making **** up.
  5. Agree with AJ...TF is Lewis swinging 2-0 there?
  6. A few pages ago?? Bless you, for thinking I can remember that far back.
  7. There are numerous people on this site who will die on the "strikeouts are just like any other out" hill. Those same people dig K's from our pitching staff, BTW
  8. Uh...AJ...Pagan didn't "find a cutter." He ditched it.
  9. For who? What we need is for him and Kirilloff to ******* show up.
  10. Uffda. Need better, Wallner. Noncompetitve ABs all post season
  11. Alvarez is a good hitter against both LH and RH pitching, but his 2023 OPS is roughly 150 points higher off right handers
  12. I wish Kirilloff hadn't cut that throw from Wallner.
  13. It's my understanding Mrs Verlander works outside the home to help make the $1300/mo mortgage nut.
