  1. Today's managerial misconduct (PHing Vazquez) moved me over the edge. Just simply can't stand him routinely getting outmanaged. And today was freaking ridiculously bad.
  2. Heh. "Well, yeah, I guess, but other than that, what did you think of the play, Mrs Lincoln?"
  3. That's only the half of it. You're missing the obvious: Not only is Vazquez terrible, there was zero chance Vazquez would even HAVE the platoon advantage, and a 2 year old could see that coming a mile away. Zero chance. Rocco got played like a violin.
  4. Someone try to justify pinch hitting Vazquez in the 9th. Please. I'd love to hear it. I'm officially done with Baldelli. We cannot have a manager capable of making a move that monumentally idiotic. Good lord.
  5. Rocco just got abused. How TF do you pinch hit Vazquez there? Good lord Rocco, that's just awful.
  6. I can expect a reliever not to throw that pitch.
  7. Holy cow that's a bad pitch. He missed the slider before way up and in, so call it again.
  8. Concur. They have internal options.
  9. There were 2 strikes. Not a hit and run. Starting the runner trying to avoid GIDP.
  10. ? You mean...the Twins should have added a reliever or 3 at the deadline??
  11. Godawful decision and swing, Lewis.
  12. Still can't score unl3ss somebody runs into one.
  13. The bats have been snoozing since Sunday. HR or nothing, and mostly nothing
  14. Kepler didn't get a glove on that. And your original point was "sun in the eyes is an error." Which hasn't been true at least in my (considerable) lifetime.
  15. Actually sun in the eyes has never been an error. Even when scorekeepers had some sense of pride, if an outfielder didn't get a glove on a fly ball it was almost never ruled an error. Similar for losing balls in the metrodome roof.
  16. Not entirely Keuchel's fault, but that's one of the problems when you give up so many base runners.
  17. Maybe so, but 90 percent of reverse splits are an illusion and the rest will prove wrong.
  18. Hope we don't plunk TB's 9-hole hitter, leading to a massive brujanjan.
