Today's managerial misconduct (PHing Vazquez) moved me over the edge.

Not only is Vazquez terrible, there was zero chance Vazquez would even HAVE the platoon advantage, and a 2 year old could see that coming a mile away. Zero chance.

Which hasn't been true at least in my (considerable) lifetime.
Actually sun in the eyes has never been an error. Even when scorekeepers had some sense of pride, if an outfielder didn't get a glove on a fly ball it was almost never ruled an error.
Similar for losing balls in the metrodome roof.
