I worked my way through college. Mostly as a bartender at the campus bar. Bet you can't tell me what was the only thing that was served and what State. Ok, ok. It was beer and it was at UW-Platteville Fun fact: the first university/college in the State to serve alcohol on campus. -
Best selling beer in Wisconsin is Bud Light. And it is in many states. So in other words, there aren't any real beer drinkers out there anymore...

Not sure how relevant season to season stats are with Nunez. With a possible exception of 2011, this is his 1st season with regular AB's. Is his current .332 BA sustainable? Not sure, but why not? I'm looking at his splits and they're pretty consistent. He's also probably the only guy on the team that doesn't pout and actually rises to the occasion. This isn't a 'sell high' situation. This is a 'sell when the other guy is desperate' situation. I wouldn't consider anything until after the All Star break.

Interesting. Are the Twins not auditioning players right now? The list: Sano, Buxton, Polanco, Kepler, Centeno and a host of players on the pitching staff like Duffey, Dean, Tonkin, Pressely, Rodgers. Probably missing a few more. MiLB players that were on the opening roster or added. 5 of that group played last night. Granted, it's not a conscious effort. It's a litany of players who somehow came out of Spring Training in less than optimal condition and ending up on the DL. And others [or same] came out of Spring Training seemingly lacking skills on the mound or at the plate and field. I still question what the hell happened there. I like Molitor, a brilliant baseball mind. But at age 60, with no Managerial experience, is/was he the right choice for this team? This team needs a young, energetic manager that's more in-tune with the young, energetic modern players. Direction comes from the top. After Jim Pohlad shot off his mouth with the stupid "Total System Failure" comment, what has HE done? Nothing. Not even context on what was wrong. Just a "well, not the team, but an individual to step up". Oy vey. -

Doesn't make a lot of sense having him learning in the MLB and get demoralized like he did last year. Sending Buxton to the minors was the right call.
