Yes, it is worrying and was my first thought also. Hoping for the best for Culpepper.

The number 10 prospect in baseball who has been crushing and is 3.3 years younger than the competition doesn't need to wait for a spot to open, sorry. You make a spot. I'll bet he moves up in the next week or so. Nothing left to prove in Witchita. This is exactly the type of guy you push to see how he responds.

You'll be glad to hear kiley Mcdaniel updated his top 50 and he still has Jenkins at #9, Erod with the big jump to #10 and Brooks Lee coming in at#27. Jenkins and Erod were both 60fv and Brooks was 55. That's quite the high end talent, with two who should be knocking on the door very soon. He basically feels that Jenkins is the best bat in the minors, and just needs to play.

Whether you're a basketball fan or not, Timberwolves can fill that void for you right now. They're must see tv!! Just an old school, lock down defense, junk yard dog mentality. It's really something impressive to watch when that defense gets going. I haven't seen anything like it since the Pistons in the early 2000s. Anyway, what kind of speed does Winokur have? For a bigger guy i feel like every time I see a box score he is stealing bags. And ol Luke Keaschall is something. I loved the pick when we nabbed him and kept the receipts. He is going to be moving up i imagine very quickly to AA?? And how long do the Twins leave ERod at AA? Another month maybe?

Yes, I know that's what they'd like to do, but it still makes zero sense. You'll never have any idea what his capabilities could've been holding him to these ridiculous pitch count/ innings limits. I operated on strict pitch limits my whole life and do the same with every kid I've coached or private instructed. But this is some next level stuff. Grooming a guy to start for 2 or 3 innings is just, yuck. Some ivy league pencil neck who has never thrown a ball in his life came up with this. Glad I passed on that Princeton scholarship offer looking back now🤭

14.2 innings pitched for Marco Raya is sad. I had that by my second start in early April every year. I mean, it's the middle of May, and he hasn't been hurt?! I don't understand it at all and never will. This is what, year 3 or 4 and he isn't even stretched out to 50 pitches? That's when I'd really start to feel loose, 50 thru 100. It's ridiculous. I'm sorry.

It's a 162 game season. Find me a player in baseball history who DIDN'T slump at some point.

Luis Arraez In Pending Trade to Padres

Their are countless ways around this. -
No offense but I'm not convinced you wouldn't say he is cooked if he stunk the joint up in those same at bats. That goes for anyone i guess because most i talk to IRL and certainly the vibe I've gotten on here is that, exactly. He was hurt last year unfortunately. He was in excellent shape and sadly, the shoulder got him. If he stays healthy, I think he'll be fine.

What is Jeffers gonna cost if he keeps this up? Picked up right where he left last year, and then some! Beast mode!

That catch was insane! And Brandon Winokur is going to shoot up some prospect lists by the end of the year I suspect. He is a stud. 19 years old in a tough hitting league and holding his own so far while playing critical positions in the field. That draft could be an all timer if Jenkins, Keaschall and Winokur all make it and contribute.

Keaschall Looking to do Damage for Kernels
Ghost of Kirby Puckett replied to Seth Stohs's topic in Twins Minor League Talk
Loved the pick back when we took him, said it on here repeatedly. Now we're seeing him get stronger and coached up and with his makeup, just like Jenkins, the sky is the limit. -
Just an FYI, the box scores are a little mixed up again.

Emmanuel Rodriguez is a man amongst children. Physically he looks more mature and stronger right now, not that he hasn't always resembled a tree stump, and I mean that in a good way! I rarely get very bullish on guys because its the hardest game on earth and most fail, including myself. But I'm beyond fully confident predicting that it's just a matter of when he shows up and is an impact bat for 10 years at Target Field. He reminds me of 2009 Jason Kubel at the plate. Similar builds. That lightning fast, compact swing that generates incredible exit velocity. And again, I hate comparing because no two are alike and Kubel after his knee injury had nowhere near Erods speed or anything close to his obp skills, but I'd be over the moon if his career plays out at a level near that 2009 season. I am beyond excited for his arrival. I don't think I'm more excited about any current prospect from any of the major teams in Minnesota with the exception of the incredible Danila Yurov, who will be another absolute superstar like his soon to be teammate Kaprizov. Jenkins probably moves to the top of this list if he can stay healthy.

Bring. Him. Home?
Ghost of Kirby Puckett replied to Cody Pirkl's topic in Twins Daily Front Page News
On what plane of consciousness is your crazy proposal sending EROD with Polanco and Kiriloff to the Marlins for Bell and Arreaz happening? You want to include a guy that is a top 50 and probably on his way to top 15 status barring health this year, who is an absolute stud, for a slap hitter with no position(here in MN) who is about to get really expensive in arb and a journeyman 1b that you can find on every trash heap laying around come March. No thanks. ERod should only be traded if it is part of a deal to grab a number 1 or 2 SP. I love Walker and Lee, but my eyeballs and gut tell me that he is going to be special at the MLB level. And soon. He is 20 and at AA, plus plays a position of extreme need. I pray Buxton can hold up, but I highly doubt that scenario plays out. So he becomes even more valuable. Plus speed, plus arm and plus plus power. Total stud. Do not trade. He will be part of this insane young core coming up together right now. -
I'd only trade Lee for a guy like Peralta or one of Miami or Seattle's young starters. But the idea he doesn't have a home because of Julien and Lewis is really stupid. He plays second over Julien in a heart beat. Julien can DH and spot start at 2b and maybe 1b or corner OF down the road. I personally don't like trading Lee when you could probably deal Kepler or Polanco along with some guys in the 6-15 prospect range and achieve the same results. Not a Peralta, because his contract is unreal. But plenty of others. I wonder if Cleveland would deal Bieber within the division?

Never in a million years am I trading Emmanuel for Pete. Ever. And he'll certainly hit better than .210. I'll bet my house on it.

Agreed. Also not trading Emmanuel Rodriguez unless it is part of a package for someone elite, like Alcantara (despite TJ) or Peralta in Milwaukee. I've seen him in person(ER) quite a bit and have zero doubts he'll be a stud.
