    Why did they not put Kreidler at 3B for Lee rather than musical chairs in the infield. I thought he was our utility guy and he can't play third.

    They know a lot more about Martin than Jenkins. This needs to be about Jenkins development and turning him into a platoon player is not going to help.

    So they have already decided to platoon Jenkins, this front office and manager need to go, don't wait until the end of the season.

    If this was a reload season, you don't trot out Kreidler and Gray at SS, you don't hang onto a 3rd catcher for a month and not play him. Clemens is not hitting in the middle of the order every day. This team did the same thing they have been doing for the last six years, bring in a couple of league average free agents, sign some AAAA players and expect them to contribute. And then hope everything comes together in a weak division. And once again it didn't work out.

    The Twins way is that younger players have too much risk to play them until you are forced to. Remember they couldn't find at bats for ERod.

    If I recall correctly, the base was already stolen by the time Jeffers caught the pitch.

    The only defense I will give them is our pitchers don't hold runners on. The analytic value of a stolen base is low so the Twins as a team have not in the recent past focused on holding runners on. The catchers do need some help from the pitchers.

    He seems fairly grounded, so I am hoping he is taking his failures and learning from them, it appears he is.

    You are correct on the path chosen but some players can make the adjustment quicker, we don't know yet about Jenkins. I still think giving him the rest of the year and see how he looks in spring training or even a month into the season and if he is struggling more time in St. Paul would be warranted. As others have said, he has always been a slow starter at each level, so is it that or is too soon. I did like his at bats last night and he doesn't seem to be taking his struggles at the plate into the field.

    I am glad KC is back, I was at the game on Saturday and it did not look good live. I was really thinking he might be done for the year, so good to have him back.

    I am rather neutral on Jackson, at best he is our back up next year. But I don't understand why not giving him at least a couple of games.

    Explain how my comment is embarrassing, I am asking for a plan for what I hope is the future of the team. Jenkins had Thursday and Saturday off, then played two days. If that is burning him out, then we are trouble. but you are just pulling stuff out of the air and trying to sound informed. Unless you are in the clubhouse you have no clue what he needs for rest. As a fan, I have every right to ask for a winning team, something they have only done once in the last 6 years. So doing the same year in and year out isn't working.

    Do you even understand why he is sitting, it is because a LH pitcher is on the mound and so they are putting Martin as a platoon, read the original post so you know what you are talking about.
