    That was my question, why are they giving more opportunity to the new guy vs. Wallner. Have they made up their minds about him.

    I thought they traded Paddack and his almost 5 ERA who was nothing more than a serviceable number 4 pitcher at best. Was there another trade I missed.

    The problem with trading Ryan and/or Lopez is the person responsible for making the trade. I don't want to see them traded. But I am afraid it will happen but to me trusting Falvey to get a good return is an exercise in futility. He will get players with a "tweak here and there" they might become a contributor. If we trade them we have to get proven major league players back and top prospects ready to break through and I don't see that happening with Falvey in charge.

    Joe has to come out for the 7th. Rocco sit down and do not go to the vaunted bullpen.

    They did say one group is from Minnesota and the other is a family from the East Coast. The way they are answering the question I don't they are private equity groups.

    But the question is, especially after the news today is Falvey going to continue down the bulk pitcher nonsense in the minors and try to shove it into the major league level as well. If he is, this article means nothing because they are not going to change course unless the limited partners have any say and tell him to run the organization like a major league baseball team and not a lab experiment.

    It is the only thing keeping me from being fully depressed. I agree it is a very small chance but I need something to hang onto.

    The only way this will be a positive is if the Pohlads let the limited partners have true input into the running of the team similar to what ARod and Lore did with the Wolves. They were responsible for bringing in Connelly. They can not run it back with Falvey in charge, so we will know fairly quickly in the offseason what influence the limited partners have.

    You are absolutely correct about this. But why would you expect the front office to all of a sudden change their MO. They have a roster of station to station players and they allow the manager to manage the team in a way that the players self police themselves on game preparation. This is why I want new ownership, an honest and objective analysis needs to be done of the organization top to bottom. And this current front office will not do it, they just keep doubling down on the same failed practices and strategies.

    This is only a trending plan by the Twins. Yes there are fewer 7 and 8 inning starts but winning teams are not using bullpen games as a strategy to win games. We have seen the results of this plan after only two weeks in last nights game. Imagine what it would be like thru the course of a season. You need length from your pitchers, that has always been and will be true. Those saying this is a trend or want piggybacking are just trying to justify Falvey's actions.

    I don't disagree but Rocco is going to be using every available arm in the bullpen and I am guessing they will want one more. And they did just sign another castoff so I am sure he will be up soon as well.

    So you give Judge an intentional walk to first to set up a lefty lefty matchup but don't bring in Funderburke. But now bring him in to face Stanton. Is Rocco even awake anymore.

    Rocco's new strategy is get behind by 8 runs so he can bring in Clemens.

    They can only bring up two additional players and one is usually a pitcher.

    Now they are just abusing Hatch, I am guessing he will be DFA'd after the game. All these bullpen games are catching up to them. I am sure glad they know what they are doing.

    For everyone who thinks we should piggyback certain pitchers together, I hope you see how these games are showing why it doesn't work. You can't just say a pitcher is going to go so many innings. And of course this is all the Twins are developing.

    Hey remember our front office is the smartest in the league and they are going to completely change how pitchers are developed. Of course we are still going to lose 80 to 100 games but remember it is not about results but about the process.

    Gasper can not throw, what are we doing putting him back there. Boston gives up on him as a catcher but hey our coaching is world class and they are going to make him an All Star catcher.
