  1. Nunez coming back on Tuesday, Vargas heading down.
  2. I've got a good feeling about May today. I don't think his ERA really reflects how he's pitched this year.
  3. Rosario is making it a pretty easy decision to send him down when Arcia comes back.
  4. Meyer reminds me of Dellin Betances a bit. If that's what he ends up as, that's still a pretty valuable piece to have, even if he's not starting.
  5. Kluber tied the record for Ks in an 8 inning start with 18. He tied Randy Johnson who threw 160 pitches in his game. Kluber was pulled with 113......
  6. Who is this guy and what has he done with Ricky Nolasco?
  7. Corey Kluber has a no hitter going through 6 with 13 Ks.....
  8. Joe Mauer scoots into third. 4-0!
  9. I'll assume you're referring to Duffey and Baxendale, both of whom are 4 years older than Berrios. Duffey and Berrios have been pretty even so far, Baxendale will come back down to earth soon.
  10. I'd go: Berrios Stewart Meyer With the next group being: Gonsalves Hu Thorpe Duffey Rogers
  11. I thought about throwing Kepler in as well but decided not to since he's been playing a lot of 1B lately.
  12. Pretty simple, which prospect would you rather have/which do you think will have the better career? Both are corner outfielders in AA and both are considered top 20 prospects in the Twins organization in most rankings. Walker has a higher celling and seems to get a lot more hype. He is almost always mentioned when projecting the future outfield but Harrison never seems to come up. Luckily we have both and don't have to choose but I'd just like to get some opinions. I expect to be in the minority on this but I'd take Harrison. I think he tends to fly under the radar, especially playing on that loaded Chattanooga team. I could see him turning into a Michael Cuddyer type player, a versatile guy who started as an infielder and can play both corner outfield positions. He's not overly athletic and doesn't have the flashy tools that Walker does but he gets on base and has some pop. His homer numbers have been down the past few years but he's still hitting a lot of doubles; I wouldn't be surprised to see him start hitting more homers soon.
  13. I'm not ready to believe in Pat Dean yet and Wimmers hasn't done anything to prove that he belongs in the majors. I don't see Milone having a future with the team at all to be honest. I think Baxendale, Berrios, and Duffey will belong in AAA next year, to begin the season at least. I think Rogers can continue to be successful and Meyer will start to figure things out soon so those two could be knocking on the door. That leaves- Hughes Nolasco Gibson Santana May Meyer Rogers
  14. Burdi's dip in velocity is a little worrisome. I hope he's not hurt.
  15. There is no way he can stay in AAA until July if he keeps hitting the way he is with Schafer/Robinson on the big league squad.
  16. Polanco seems to be flying under the radar being on the same team as Buxton and Sano. He's having a hell of a season so far.
  17. Sure would have been nice if Rosario made that catch.
