    Free agent arms this offseason were arguably sparse. However, trade partners are always available. Ryan could have worked something. He didn't. Holy Krap. Make a friggin move or two. Show some desire to get better. Take a risk. This $hit is just boring.

    I predict that Dozier will come in to pitch in the 13th inning of a June game due to a depleted bullpen and he will bust out the ephus pitch and get the 3rd out of the inning on an infield popup. Later that inning, he will tomahawk a home run around the left field foul pole to win the game. He will thus be the winning pitcher of record and have the game winning RBI in the same game. Later that day on Sports Center he will be awarded the web gem of the day for his unassisted triple play in the top of the 12th. Go Twins!

    This is not the first time I have been a little unclear in making a point. Allow me to clarify. I am in no way suggesting that another team trade for him and make him their primary option at a position other than 3b.

    I get your point Brock. I agree in part. But, you can't argue that position flexability does not enhance value. That part of it is seldom mentioned. That was my point.

    I think Plouffe's tradability is more than just as a 3B. He can play 1B, RF, and fill in at any position accept catcher. Not pickin on you Spinowner. Many people on this site refer to the poor 3B market this year as being why we could not find a trade partner. For me, the 3B market is only part of the story. In and of itself, not a plausable singular excuse.

    He's 22. Most 22 year olds have some learning and maturing to do. A story singling this kid out is like a real reach for subject matter IMHO. On the heels of all he went through recovering from Tommy John surgery and now moving to a different position, all while 22 yrs old and younger, this article's timing and subject strikes me as a distasteful reach for a headline.
