    Well then... How'd Steve Pearce do in the box score? I admit i didn' pay that close attention beyond final scores to the post season. I even turned the radio off when the red sox scored in the top of the 13th that one time.

    This was a sore point with a friend of mine who bet someone the Twins would make the playoffs back when they lost game 163. It was decided for some odd reason that the bet was about the post season despite the explicit use of the word playoff... At this point i suppose it is water over the dam and under the bridge.

    Strange... I always thought the point of bumper cars was to hit, not avoid being hit... Avoiding being hit was then lots of fun once everyone was out to get you. And i thought i had achieved enlightent when i realized that. Which...leads me to conclude... They are all out to get you in Chicago traffic? Oh yeah. Winnah!
