    I liked him. There was a chunk of time where i actually took the time to follow news on the Twins rather than let it all percolate through here. And he pretty much broke just about everything as far as i can tell. I still didn't get much even then, though.

    The Great American Game Thread Intro Call me Ish-male. Some years ago, i found myself betwixt and between, not knowing what to do with myself. And somehow i found myself unconsciously drawn to crack of the bat, the cheers of the crowd, feeling the irresistable urge to chase after a ball as it hurtles through the air much as a canine retriever might. Not knowing what i was doing, i signed up to write a game thread for a motley bunch of game threaders, who probably wouldn't terribly appreciate me likening them to fictional characters from an ancient Melville text. But i won't stop them from identifying themselves as such. Together we searched the diamonds for the mythical big bat what could wreck stadiums with single swing, although single was rarely the result.
