    Sorry i missed the excitement... I'm sure this is all some clever strategy setting other teams up for a surprise. Not exactly sure how. That's probably why it's called a surprise.

    I predict... The Twins will play 162 games this season. And they'll all matter. Alas, i'm not going out on the limb and predicting a 163rd game. (And i remember a friend being very touchy about whether that was the play offs or not, when the Twins lost in the one gamer to the Sox that one year when the coin flip went against them for home field advantage. He had a bet with a friend the Twins would make the play offs that year, and tried to collect based on the one game "play off", and apparently there was a differing perspective on the whole thing. I feel kinda responsible for that situation too, as it was my fault my friend followed the Twins, as i'd talked 'em up post contraction days...)

    Finally caught up on the thread... I can answer my own question. Yes. We won yet another game. And the phrase not hitting on all cylinders just means some of that bats have not been igniting, right? Clean off them spark plugs! Mind the gap. We should be hitting on all cylinders soon!

    And the highlight of the trip was sharing that with a tour guide near Valley Forge (still looking for the forge... didn't see it... i think it must be a forgery) and being told to get out.

    Sorry, i was off running an errand... My joke wasn't much... It was just explaining how come the toll is a $1 on many (most?) bridges between PA and NJ. That is because it takes a Washington to cross the Delaware.

    And am i right in believing the Phillies aren't so bad? Is this another yard stick to see if we are tall enough to ride the ride this year?

    I was in Philly with folk a month and a half ago. Was meeting folk, and went to the wrong Ben Franklin themed place... Also told a joke that Chief might even have been proud of. That was the highlight of my trip.

    No... (Bases loaded down 1 when it ended, so um... almost?) Yes! Yes!! Oh YES!!! Sorry... i fell behind. Not used to this.

    Double checked. And one of the hits was in fact a double, evening out the bases and outs at 4 apiece (outs broken out into double double plays, hits broken out into a single double and double singles) And i have nothing to do with double mint gum. I like big red, myself.
