  1. Probably the Sahara. No one can finish a whole Sahara by themselves... (But i probably should let Platoon answer...)
  2. Yes. I think my favorite reference to sasquatch in general is: (be patient...) but then i haven't been out and about as much as is requisite to become an aficionado on the subject...
  3. "Do you believe in the Eastern Timezone? Because I do!" "Oh, is that why you always try to leave an hour early?"
  4. My pen saith "I am bic" And it is true nothing i eat fights me... that would mean only eat that which is tame? I had not realized that... Thanks for pointing it out.
  5. To paraphrase a scene from fight club... Modern minds don't blow (like fuses) they trip (like circuit breakers) ... Of course it company policy never to imply ownership of a mind. It's always "a mind" not "your mind" But what i'm having trouble with the beatles, myself... "Now Here man, please listen. You don't know what you're missin'..." Anyway, back to the game...
  6. The Twins might be learning from ChiTown... The lesson being "capitalize"
  7. Sorry, i seem to have left the word "know" out... Oh well. Live and learn.
  8. All i'm thinkin' of is "hay. it itches" or perhaps "pajamas? i'll have you that's my natural hair!"
  9. Trying to decide how this stacks up on the scale of game threads... Lets see: A horse walks into a bar. Bartender says... "Why the long pajamas?" yeah, i think it does pretty well.
  10. Hey! The let me into the upper floors occasionally, and even to talk to visitors! Showering once a month is apparently on topic regarding meat eating too... I'll follow it after watching the mickey mouse club and finishing listening to the agoraphobic cowboy, but you don't have wait for me: it's at something like skipshowersforbeef.com (It came to me in an email today)
  11. Concur. Wonderin' what he is up to, i poked about on the wikipedia, and am pleased to find out about the Agoraphobic Cowboy...
  12. I hesitate to ask, but what which food chain did you climb to the top of? McDonalds? With the billions and billions served? I think they're like the Cardinals of the food chains, but with two arches... Just don't step in the special sauce. I know they often had kiddy play areas, that's why i speculated as such... Any recommendations so far, should anyone be passing through Michigan?
  13. She should at least run it out. No point in standing on a bunt, even if it is a sac.
  14. I'll pour over these too, at some point. But it occurred to me to ask. How is Santana's post season suspension handled from a team perspective? Does it have the same effect as someone not being able to play due to injury and thus being on the DL allows the team to replace that player with someone from the September call ups?
  15. Yeah, i know. Just the exchange of an out for a base makes it plausibly sacrificial in nature. And i'm sure no one will say it weren't a fly... Interesting that they make the infield/outfield distinction... I'd not considered that. I should perhaps ask where the boarder between the infield and the outfield actually lies... If an infield fly rule gets called, does that automatically mean it won't be scored a sac fly if the runner tags and scores? Anyway... Dozier has ended the game. Time to listen to the post game post treat post...
  16. Pursuant to previous discussion... The runner advanced to second on the deep fly. How come that ain't scored a sacrifice?
  17. If you're gonna work, working for a change is the right way to do it.
  18. Oh, i meant to say that i must be a natural left fielder, as the bit of Jim Post i listened to whilst awaitin' the game was satisfyin'.
