Logistics are complicated. But if things work out, i probably will be driving around the midwest in the coming weeks. Any advice y'all have regarding scratching the baseball itch? It would seem my more practical options would be... a) try to infiltrte a Twins game in KC. visit Target field the first game of the Detroit series. c) Cedar Rapids? I will poke my college friend in the Twin cities once again, who last i pestered him said, catching him and the state fair probably wouldn't work. But it turns out when i actually looked when it was, that won't work for me neither... Logistics are complicated.

It got explained to me early on that in New England, if you asked for a milkshake, you got something made from milk, presumably shaken... Strangely enough, i never verified this claim. It could be merely stirred. If you wanted ice cream in it, you had to order this thing called a frappe. Rhymes with cap. I know, it contradicts all i learned about the silent e. And how could Tom Lehrer be wrong?

This might be a fun game thread. Personally i take belly flops over dives, but to each their own. As much fun as English can be, at least you can count on good old "the" being right. I hear tell that in other languages, nouns have gender, and stuff has to agree with it.

So... Berrios takes Abad's spot in the roster and Duffey's spot in the rotation? Santiago takes Nolasco's roster spot, and the rest take their respective outgoing AAA spots, Pat Light going to AAA where Berrios was? Does that close the circuit? Or missed i something?

I confess that i thought of this movie as well at the mention of spice... Amongst my friends, there is a style of tire swinging knowm as Baron Harkonin style. And just to get it out of my head, i will ask "What's in the batter's box? ... Let's just say i'm suggesting that he may be a batter." Now that is out of my system... New teammate(s)! How will that play out?
