    Good on the Twins for not caving in to the Dodgers 1-1 demand with De Leon. You've got to get two of those kind of guys and pray one pans out. Keep Dozier until further notice.

    I hated giving up Hu in the Jepsen deal. Thought it was a horrible, short-sighted move by TR, but we'll see.

    Stewart's starting to make me eat my words after I called him a bust last season. I wouldn't be impressed, but he's striking out batters now. Hope is not lost.

    Raw guys can still strike out batters. Stewart isn't just raw, he's just not very good. He's really athletic and threw hard in high school, but it's not working out.

    I've been a TR supporter, but I think he blew it here. Being down on Hu is a contrarian take. He's been stellar every step of the way, isn't old, and reportedly has good stuff. Not great, but good. His WHIP and K/9 are very strong. This reeks of the Matt Capps trade. Overpaying for a bullpen guy who barely moves the needle. Would rather we stood pat.

    Way too soon to say TR needs to go. This team is set up to be good or better for the next 5 years. He's made some bold moves in the off-seasons. Some haven't panned out but that's life. The contender window wasn't even supposed to be open this year and some of y'all are criticizing him for not making moves?? Give him through next year and maybe I'll agree. Our best chance at glory is through Sano, Buxton, and maybe Berrios. Jeez let them come up first. Strike when the iron's hot not lukewarm.

    Gonsalves deserves to be a lot higher than most have him right now. I'd put him top 5. Jay right behind. Then Hu.

    If Meyer can transition into one of the best RPs in baseball within a couple of years, I'd say that's a solid outcome for him. I'll take 5-7 years of him decimating batters one inning at a time.

    Keeps his "high 90's fastball"?? He doesn't have a high 90's fastball. Maybe it touched that last year for one inning after he had an extra cup of coffee that morning. By reports, he touches the mid-90's and sits in the low 90's. That's nothing special. If you're not willing to bet against him yet, that's fine. But I am. Like others have said, he should be dominating A-ball hitters on raw talent alone. The guy was drafted top 5 overall, not in the 40th round. He just doesn't have it.

    Stewart is trash. Even when he pitches well, he doesn't get Ks. If only he can rebound his ERA a bit so TR can sell him to some dumb organization for a quality player.

    Yeah, Berrios must have more velo than that gun indicated. Didn't some scout say he was 93-97 in his last start?

    Berrios is #1 by a wide margin right now. I'd put Gonsalves 2nd and Hu 3rd. Both of those guys have dominated batters from the get-go and supposedly have enough stuff to project well at the major league level. Stewart is extremely overrated and is coasting off his draft position rep. The slider myth is dead. He just doesn't know how to strike out batters and I've heard from articles that his stuff has regressed. Meyer is wild card, but the clock is ticking on him to "get it".

    Berrios has number 1 starter potential. He needs to improve his off-speed stuff tho.

    But I thought Buxton was overrated based on less than one month of at bats and missing all of last year!

    Hu and Gonsalves have passed Stewart for me. They have stuff and are actually whiffing batters. Dominating.

    The "vast majority" of pitchers drafted top 5 don't bust. I just don't like his chances. Heard his velo took a dip last season. He should be dominating on raw talent alone if he does indeed have the pitches. And don't give me ERA. He's headed for bustoville, IMO.
