    This. It's a RP set of pitches right now......but hey, this is what a rebuilding team that gave up on the year should be doing, trying guys to get them experience and help them grow (or learn they aren't good, either way).

    They traded for two, and have Diaw and the other guy who's name I can't recall. No pass from me, we are three years into the awful Vazquez deal, and they don't have a replacement.....but I used ot think they ignored C, turns out they just stink at drafting and developing them other than Jeffers in 9 years....

    OF Gabriel Gonzalez - yes SP Andrew Morris - clearly SP Kendry Rojas - yes SP Cory Lewis - I think so, but I'm not sure. OF Hendry Mendez - hmmmmm, I think yes, but he's a hitter w/o much D? I mean, why wouldn't CO or Pitt or Mia take the chance? SP Connor Prielipp - clearly SP CJ Culpepper - I'd think so, yes. INF Danny de Andrade - underrated by the TWins and fans, but will someone take him? I don't think so?

    I still don't get why Gasper is here if he isn't catching. Because he's not going to play anywhere else next year for MN.

    I agree they don't need to protect MacLeod or Sabato. I mean, they aren't even giving Sabato a shot right now......who else is going to do so?

    I don't think Baltimore is going to trade Basallo , but that's a guess of course.

    zero people? That was not a great job by the LF, but it was actually a hit unlike yesterday (or day before, life's a blur right now).

    I mean, Martin and Kiersey are easy DFA at this point. (I'm shocked about Martin, maybe he fixes things). So is McCusker. Outman, don't get me started. I think Roden is protected, on the 40 man almost with certainty at this point. And Larnach is traded. I don't think they'll have too many OF on the 40 man next year, to start the year.

    It's hard to see Tampa trading for a guy that's about to get expensive. Jenkins isn't a CF. Emma is never healthy. Also, no such thing as too much pitching, especially if you are dealing Ryan. If you don't think they need OF or P, what are you even trading for? They likely don't trade for a SS, given Culpepper and Houston. There is no 1B prospect worth a pitcher. I'd guess catcher is the best option if you aren't going for SP or OF. So, Seattle or Baltimore.....(the obsession with Duran also makes no sense if you are dealing Ryan, imo).

    The Mets have 4 players in the top 65 on Fangraphs prospect list, two SP and two CF. That's the organization, imo, they should be dealing with.

    Didn't know about Anthony. I have zero interest in trading Ryan to Boston. Casas isn't a middle of the order bat. He's just not all that good. He's 25 with a 56 wrc+ and negative .6 fwar this year. He wasn't good last year. He was mediocre the year before. I just don't get it.

    Why would you trade for Casas? If you are giving up Ryan, you aren't competing (most likely) in 26. He's hitting like Vazquez this year. I really don't get the obsession with this guy. He wasn't even all that good last year. Really, why? Why do people want him? Roman Anthony or bust. There isn't a minor league prospect anyone should LOVE in that system.

    I'll be surprised if outman isn't DFA. Still can't figure out this trade. I'd take a flyer on Mendez if I was a team without much offense.

    I couldn't care less about the backup QB. You dont win squat in this league with a backup. It's all on McCarthy. And health.

    Only 2 for 6? That would be a league leading batting average..... Exciting that the top prospects are looking very good. There's hope.

    Wallner>>>>>>>>Larnach as a hitter. Somehow Larnach is going to hit more than 20 hrs, and still put up zero fWAR. It's kind of uncanny. Martin is not a ML OF. Sigh. I will always wonder how things would have been if they had not had him play SS so much, when it was 100% certain he never would (Winokur is the newest example of this). I really didn't think Clemens could keep this up, but I'm becoming a believer. There were 4 or 5 legit ML players in the field for MN, which still isn't enough.

    Mendez can barely play OF defense. EROD could be an elite defender......
