    Most predictive thing for ticket sales is the previous year's record, which is going to be awful. They'll lose about ten to twenty percent from this year I'd guess. I have no idea how anyone thinks they'll draw enough more people in their 25 home starts, between the both of them, make a big enough difference to pay their salary.

    It's a business. The point is to make money. Winning is a bonus. I expect Ryan and Ober to be dealt. And Larnach not to be on the roster somehow.

    Never? As to the OP, I don't think they can, unless they just start winning somehow..... Next year. Nothing they can do this year realistically, especially with the NFL back.

    I wanted pre arb players from the system, not Clemens and Gasper, and the chaffe from the team from the system gone, aka Julien. And I certainly didn't want Kiersey and outman both on the roster. We're going to read they have to keep some of those guys next year, because you can't replace so many people..... Had they called up fedko, Gonzalez , or whomever, they wouldn't be replacing them..... They'd be up. Same with Raya in the bullpen.....

    Once guy I'm certain is a MLB player in the lineup, one guy I think is, two utility guys, and the rest. It's hard to field that bad a lineup.

    I could see doing this. There aren't a lot of ways for teams that choose to be low spenders to win ... This is one. Could it fail? Sure. But holy cow, fans are oddly conservative.
