Ryan 8:17 Twins take cavaco now that Jung is off the board or could another college bat interest them? Eric A Longenhagen 8:17 have to think they take a long look at stott if he's there
Corey 7:07 Is there a team that because you admire their draft acumen or philosophy, you are excited to see who they take? Dodgers, Astros, etc? Eric A Longenhagen 7:07 those teams, LAA, MIN, NYY, we'll learn a lot about ARI tonight too
bombas: do you see the twins cutting a deal under slot? Keith Law: I know they’ve considered it (why not?) but I think they go slot for Stott or Langeliers. Kedelbro: Is Wilson to Twins the backup plan if Stott/Langeliers unavailable? Keith Law: Yeah, I think that’s about right. Denise: I have heard that the college pitching crop is the worst in a long time, do you think this is so? Keith Law: Absolutely. The worst I’ve ever covered/been involved in, and this is my 18th draft. http://meadowparty.com/blog/2019/06/03/klawchat-6-3-19/
I know it isn't for everyone, but we just finished season 3 of the Magicians. Camp, violence, magic, drugs, angst.......but what I really like is that it continues to surprise me. That's about as important as good writing for me......
Sano has an OPS over 1000 since his return. What, exactly, are you looking for, expecting? By Fangraphs offensive measure, he's hitting like a top 5 3B in all the league.....
Of course, the year before it was the Astros trading 3 of their top 11 for Verlander.....and then in the off season trading for another SP......so I think 1 year of trends might not be a true indicator.....
they don't have much help coming, so they should wait for the future to be better? I'm not sure I understand this position. Help me understand..... Because they are projected to win around 95 games this year, and you don't see much help for next year in the minors, so, why wait?
