  1. Sure, I'd gladly do Jeffers, Hill or Soto, and ERod for Volpe and Elmer (but I think that's light for MN).
  2. Zero interest in getting a bad SS back for Jeffers. Give me a AA or AAA pitcher (throw in Hill or Soto to make it a better one back).
  3. I'm 100% calling Tampa and putting Jeffers with Hill or Soto and a lower ranked guy for one of TB AA or AAA pitchers in the top 100.
  4. Who the hell intentionally walks Lewis? Firable offense.
  5. I'm not sure that's fair to all us prospect people ..
  6. https://blogs.fangraphs.com/2026-pre-trade-deadline-top-100-prospects-update/ They love this system, and didn't even have Emma in the top 100....
  7. Complaining a guy doesn't contribute every day, like it proves something, is a take ( not you, the other).
  8. Agreed. That's why I'm hoping they package Jeffers with Hill or Soto for a legit AA or AAA starter.
  9. Interestingly, I think Minnesota is showing it's not ridiculously hard to build a bullpen.... If you are willing to move starters like Morris. Had they moved him sooner, and signed one mediocre guy, the story would be very different.
  10. Tampa is one.... If the Twins can make two really good trades, they could be third.... Not that I expect that.. Tampa is light years ahead of anyone else. According to them.
  11. Fangraphs has Minnesota with the fourth best system....
  12. Wow. Fangraphs is in love with Jenkins, now ranked 4, and Lackey is 14! Culpeper 34, Houston 59, Tait 82, Quick 89, Rojas 99. Seven top 100 prospects. Including those two way up top.
  13. Definitely a consideration! BTW, the Twins won the Jax/Bradley trade.
  14. Agreed. I really think they'll hold them both back. I hope to be wrong, oddly, since I want them getting experience this year.....
  15. It's possible Kriedler is who we thought he was, alas. And Lewis has stopped hitting. Methinks the Culpepper/Houston era can't start soon enough (with Clemens or someone else at first).
  16. mike sixel 2:03 Does Jeffers accept the QO or test FA if they Twins offer him? I mean, I trade him, but others want the QO and the rest of this year and maybe next at 23 million....thanks! Jon Becker 2:04 I think I'd reject it if I'm him, assuming I finish the season healthy and hitting somewhere near as well as I am now. The catcher market in FA is always so thin, and this coming offseason is no exception with Jeffers and Stephenson the top two and then a lot of backup-types. I think he'd at minimum double the value of the QO on a multi-year deal, probably even triple it.
  17. Fangraphs WAR has him much better .....he's been on the field, and he's eaten innings, and his expected ERA is better than league average. I think we are nitpicking between a 3 and 4 though....but I'd love him in MN.
  18. Gore has been much better than a 4..... But, ya, that draft didn't turn out well for most.
  19. Yes, but I never wanted Lewis (pretty sure I was wrong about who to take though). Lee is looking like an average third baseman into the future, and he's actually on the field...... If they could get a legit pitching prospect for Lewis, I'd deal him right now.
  20. Which player saw the largest drop in projected WAR for the 2027 season during the first half of the season? Dan Szymborski 12:49 Eduardo Tait
  21. I'm not giving up on a guy with this limited experience just yet, but I'm not overly confident..... He should 100 percent start the rest of this year.
  22. Injured HS pitchers should be much lower Young shouldn't even be on the list. That negativity out of the way.... This is a great group of hitters, who can also play defense. Very excited to see the next few years.
