  1. Speechless
  2. 100 percent someone signs Stewart to a major league deal if the Twins don't.
  3. Really?
  4. Seems likely, other than shedding payroll if they can (but I don't see a real way to do that).
  5. The Angels have no idea where they are in the competitive landscape, unless they plan to add like 4 pitchers and several more hitters.....why are they adding a guy this old?
  6. Haven't turned on the game (not sure I will), but looking on CBS, it appears neither OL showed up.....
  7. A name I didn't expect to see a national outlet highlight... https://blogs.fangraphs.com/locally-sourced-arizona-fall-league-notes-grant-taylor-and-connor-phillips-are-nasty/
  8. Meh. Topa is a sunk cost. I'd tender Stewart, but I don't care if they keep the other two or not.
  9. Dang, Houston and ST. Louis are in for a long few years most likely.
  10. I know this is impossible, but maybe fans are being rational?
  11. Without a real RG, and now an at best average LT (they have one above average OL, and likely 4 below average now)....
  12. I keep seeing a bigger zone for the Yankees pitchers
  13. The Jag's are paying like 70 percent of the new OTs salary.
  14. Put him in left field day one and leave him there. Move Larnach to first and DH. He subs in center when Buxton isn't playing.
  15. This is not a serious question. Even if you think he's expensive, which he's not, you tender him and trade him.
  16. Vikings somehow give up a fourth round pick for an OT. Compared to the other deals, this is not impressive. I'm having real doubts about the GM . Sure, it could be a fifth, but if he's good at all it's a fourth. Edit... It's in 2026.... So I love this trade if he's good at all
  17. Yards shmards. They are seventh in scoring. Way more important.
  18. Huh. I thought it was more open.... This changes my thoughts....
  19. I don't think there are 40 man issues this year at all......but I could be wrong on that. But, agreed, of the hitters, he's the one I'd least likely keep if they NEED a space.
  20. Diggs out for the year with a knee injury.
  21. As I've said for years, more teams should do deals like this during the year. Players are almost free right now. I mean, CA moves up what, 10 spots, less? Baltimore is picking in the 20s, and Carolina in the top 10.
  22. I tender him. I start him in MN. If he gets hurt, oh well. Next guy up (Miranda, Severino, Julien, Larnach?). But sure, that's a pittance and I roll the dice this time he's healthy.
