  1. Corbin Carrol had 157 AAA at bats......Jenkins would need to play all of 2-3 weeks next year to hit that level...would that really matter? I doubt it. I have no idea if Jenkins is ready to start in the majors next year or not. But this idea that guys need a ton of AAA at bats seems off to me.
  2. You can disagree all you want, but the math is on the internet for anyone that is interested.
  3. This FO inherited a terrible farm system. Just brutal top 5 picks from the previous years. That's no excuse for what they've done since, but this farm was terrible.
  4. ? Baltimore has signed one guy, none as old as Ryan, Jeffers, Ober, or Lewis or Wallner? Of the guys you listed, Lee is it as a comparison. That's it. Baltimore had a great hitting team, and didn't add one pitcher in the last few years to get better. They've done exactly what MN has done, except they have hitting and no pitching....where MN has pitching but no hitting.
  5. Now it is only "contact hitters", not hitters? Maybe. Sure. But ignoring power is a bold choice. You completely ignored the other part of my post......it's easier to score with power than contact in 2025 because pitchers are so good.
  6. You know those guys in the minors are better hitters than Wallner? That's quite the leap. The data is clear, it's a lot easier to score runs with power than average. Because it's really hard to string together hits.
  7. Possible for sure. I'm not sure how that excuses not trying to fix things.
  8. The sports media in Minnesota is soft compared to the test of the US. Dude said he wouldn't take coaching in the middle of an awful year long stretch. That's not good.
  9. People want him DFA or demoted. He's going to put up 2 war, his OPS is at or around ,800..... And people just want to get rid of him. Lots of people here.
  10. No chance Larnach is. That's not a question for me. 4 million to be bad? No chance. Julien has no position, and hasn't hit for a year. I'm not sure that's a question either. As much as I want Martin to be Castro with speed..... He's not. That's partially a question I think.
  11. I hope he trades up next year with all these late picks.....
  12. The hatred for Wallner on this site is truly astounding.
  13. Somehow they traded an asset with almost no value, and still lost the trade.
  14. In any event, if you won't take coaching, you likely aren't going to get better. Scottie Scheffler makes changes...... confident humans are willing to do so.
  15. Except he's been awful for a year, and he refuses to change or take coaching. So it's not like he's getting a huge raise this way.
  16. Agreed. Always hurt. Won't switch positions. Won't take coaching. Not good for a year. He really is not a team guy, and he's not a star that allows others to ignore that.
  17. I don't get why they are trying to make him a starter at this point. He won't start next year in the majors, most likely (innings and all)....there may not be a season in 27......make him a RP and get him in the majors making real money (and helping the team).
  18. Outman and Roden until they bring up a legit prospect or two......they aren't paying Larnach 4 million dollars to be bad. No way.
  19. I can't see any way Larnach is on this roster next year. He's the definition of replacement level. They can get that from one of the non-Kiersey guys in the minors (or Outman / Roden).
