  1. I don't know how he does it, but Kintzler does it. He somehow gets the job done.
  2. I remember a poster predicted that the Twins would be 6 games out after this weekend. Don't remember if that was you, or not. You were only 6.5 games off!
  3. Two outs, no one on base. The situation when Kintzler starts to struggle.
  4. Del Rosario's most recent start was June 22 at Quad Cities. This was the first game following the all star break, and Del Rosario turned in a very good effort. His pitching line June 22: 6 IP, 2 hits, 0 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 7 SO Colton Davis and Hector Lujan combined to pitch three perfect innings at the end.
  5. Fun w/ numbers: This is Mauer's 5th at bat and he's only seen like 8 pitches today* *exaggerating but not by much
  6. Del Rosario started June 16 versus Clinton. Bill won, 5-4. Del Rosario's line: 6 IP, 7 hits, 4 R, 4 ER, 3 BB, 3 SO Del Rosario also threw a wild pitch, committed a balk, and picked off a runner at first base in this game.
  7. It's the Pickler + Falvey Analytics time of the game -- which relief pitcher do we bring in to face the heart of their order?
  8. Would you describe that last Rosario out as chalant? edit: ninja'd by GCTF, who doesn't post enough here
  9. Poppen was the starting pitcher last Friday evening, June 23, in a Cedar Rapids loss. His stats: 6 IP, 8 hits, 6 R, 5 ER, 0 BB, 5 SO, 2 HR It was Poppen's first start of the second half of the Midwest league season, after pitching a clean inning in the Midwest League All Star game. In th All Star game, Poppen had a strikeout and two groundouts, shortstop Palacios to first baseman Diaz.
  10. Rosario a little hot-doggy on that easy fly ball. Not the time or place for that. (is there ever?)
  11. Another good dose of Castro oil for the Clevelands
  12. http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-eLS-sVSgXnM/Tl7Yn2e87II/AAAAAAAAAJ4/ncHuKt-yjhQ/s1600/super-confidence.com%2BJersey%2BShore%2BMike%2Band%2BRonnie%2BFight43.jpg
  13. Well for me, it's being discouraged that teh Twins are supposed to give up on winning just when they started winning again....
  14. Hopefully he has good people around to keep his spirits up. This is a tough injury to return to old form. It gives new meaning to the phrase "at that age" -- he's only 20.
  15. Shoulder injury. Discuss. http://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/19721838/julio-urias-los-angeles-dodgers-needs-shoulder-surgery-expected-12-14-months
  16. Would you prefer (or have preferred) Turley remain in the pen, and DFA Breslow?
  17. Good; I see what you are getting at. But make no mistake, the police love the power and they love the overtime, and the system is happy to give it to them.
  18. The stereotypes are turned around here at Hosken House. There's no quiet moment that can't be filled with a few choice words, or failing that, a bodily noise of some sort. Now if you'll excuse me, there's a rain cloud over the stadium that needs a good talkin' to.
