    The Rays have good pitching. Better pitching than LA or Baltimore, in my opinion. Fortunately we miss the Ray's best pitcher this series.

    Lots of good observations here. Although it didn't have an impact on the outcome, but what got lost in yesterday's game is Rosario's steal of third on his own, in the 8th inning. That was about as high-leverage a situation to do that as possible; in other words, very risky. I blogged about Rosario stealing third on his own last year when he was in that terrible slump. By the way, Rosario trotted into third base yesterday without a throw, but Garver lined out to center to end the inning.

    This is the best Twins season in a decade. Why can't Souhan write about the baseball and save the unsourced rumor pieces for the offseason. It's also not illegal for columnists to present facts. What kind of injury does Sano have, again? When did it happen? Who else has had it? How long was the recovery for those other players? His apology follow-up column is a bigger train wreck than the original column, imo.
