  1. Did Rosario admire his double a bit too long out of the box? I get the sense that he did, watching it, but I don't want to let my assumptions get the better of me. If he runs hard right away, he gets to third just fine.
  2. Here's got a little pop in his bat, too.
  3. I feel only despair and the certainty of gloom.
  4. Rosario got a bad jump on that ball. I am pretty confident that Kepler would have gotten there. PS the stadium was pretty empty last night, and you could hear the Nationals bench pretty loudly chanting and banging in celebration after the big homer.
  5. Thanks for writing this. Amid the grim injury and suspension news, it's good to remember that we're lucky to be complaining about the playoffs at all!
  6. Ideal path: Twins play the Yankees with New York having the home field advantage and sweep them. (Whatever happens after that, I'll be happy.)
  7. Yes. They have a lot of payroll flexibility and if he turns it down, the draft pick is really valuable.
  8. Say what you will, but the Tigers got like 15 hits per game against Twins' pitching quite recently.
  9. Thanks for writing this. People crap on the bullpen a lot, but some of them have actually been good.
  10. I feel bad for the 1st base bag. It's gonna get a beating with all those headfirst slides.
  11. This should be Perez's last chance.
  12. And a mediocre offense that got hot for two weeks. Twins have the best offense in baseball (ranked by OPS & HR anyway).
  13. If If the Royals can win the World Series, so can we.
  14. I trust them to evaluate well and not screw up this team's future.
  15. Re: Rosario, you said "The 23-year old is still arbitration eligible and the earliest he can reach free agency is 2022." So yeah he's 27 I think. Almost 28.
  16. I trust this front office to not do anything dumb, nothing that would hurt the team long-term. They've been really smart on that front so far.
