  1. Sano is trying to pull everything.
  2. Sano's walks by month April 18 May 13 June 11 July 6 August 1 So far........
  3. It seems the pull happy disease Buxton had early on the season has been passed on to Sano.
  4. Hildenberger was impressive. Good job.
  5. Hunter just called a pitch a 30 footer. Thank God this is his last broadcast.
  6. I guess Sano didn't want Rosario to catch him in SLG percentage.
  7. No pitcher in their right mind is going to throw Sano a fastball ever again until he makes adjustments.
  8. In all honesty a loss like this was probably overdue. You just can't have your starters only go 3-4 innings. Still sucks though.
  9. I have no facts to back this up (I'm sure someone could look it up and see if I'm right or wrong) but it seems the last couple of months he is swinging a fewer balls out of the zone and getting into better hitter's counts.
  10. I hope I don't jinx him, but he's been a godsend to this bullpen, being able to go multiple innings. Looks really good.
  11. Rosario is slugging .503 for the season now.
  12. The trend is more bad than good ones. Not good.
  13. While this winning streak is nice and all, if the starters don't do a better job of going longer in starts they could easily go on a long losing streak. 3-4 inning starts are not a winning formula.
  14. It seems to me it's all about command of the fastball. When he has it, he is really good, when he doesn't you get games like this...
  15. Rosario is on fire. By month: BA OBP SLG OPS April .268 .294 .366 .660 May .269 .310 .500 .810 June .291 .341 .519 .860 July .321 .370 .488 .858 Aug .324 .350 .703 1.053 So far....
  16. I'm switching to the Detroit feed. Can't listen to Hunter any more....
  17. Sano might not ever see a fast ball again.
  18. This is a growing concern. Pitchers are learning not to throw him fastballs. If he can't adjust he could have a serious regression. The K's are piling up.
  19. Rosario's slugging percentage is up to .486. Nice.
  20. I don't mean to derail discussion about the premise of the post, but shouldn't the question be "Can the Twins win with the so called core 4"? Dozier and Mauer of the last few seasons (Brian's career year last year not withstanding) are not players you build a championship team around. They are just along for the ride next year ( and possibly beyond). There are plenty of questions surrounding those 4 core players that need to be answered, the biggest of which is Buxton going to be a superstar or just a nice player. The next biggest is Berrios an Ace/strong#2, or a #3 pitcher. the answers to those 2 things will go a long ways towards determining if the Twins can really become a championship caliber team.
  21. Nobody's trading for Colon in august.
  22. ARRGGGGGGHHHHHH! Haven't we seen enough of Colon? Why is he still on the roster???!!!
  23. What he said about Colon is enough to make me stop watching games for the rest of the year.
