    The problem is the pizza place moved to a swankier part of town where the expectations are higher for their pizzas. In the swanky part of town the expect exotic toppings and expensive cheese, but the same old pizza came along for the ride. It's not the pizza, it's the expectations

    So Hammer is gone, but the question still stands. Who makes room for Nolasco? I would add, does Nolasco return to starting duties? With the money into Nolasco I would guess Pino goes down, and Nolasco starts. But... Maybe Deduno gets DFA'd and Nolasco relieves.

    it's higher than his 84 ops + last year. However a .714 ops for a starting left fielder isn't something I'm excited about.

    I was clamoring to see Parmelee early in the season, but with the extended look this season, we've seen more of the same in his prior short stints. I'm afraid with his options situation, TR has been painted into a corner again. Hammer coming off the books will help, but I don't see much in the way of help behind him.

    Interesting reading Dodgers fans reactions. Of course none of them pay attention to the Twins, so they don't quite understand the depths of the team around him. It seems to be a mix of frustration that he's perceived as a bad pitcher, frustration that he's not Lester, and happy about the trade because they are so pitching thin in the minors.

    I wish KC well. He was a valuable contributor to the Twins. By far the most stable and consistent starter over the two years. I'm also very happy for the youth movement to continue
