    Zebby- why does it have to be one or the other? He can move to the pen next year and potentially move back to the rotation in the future. I think pen makes a lot of sense for next years plans with the potential of moving back to the rotation. It’s being done more often in the league nowadays and he has the stuff to make it happen. Royce- yeah I think in a way he’s back, but his whiff struggles and his in zone whiff struggles will mean that he’ll likely never be an elite hitter, so he’s really going to have to find somewhere defensively where he can be at least a league average presence defensively. Luke- I think it’s mostly legit with the bat. He’s really incredible about swinging at his pitch and laying off stuff outside the zone and pitchers pitches. MLB defenses will learn to play him tighter but remember he’s still coming off TJ and multiple hand injuries. I think he can find a little more bat speed which should help him adjust to the adjustments that’ll come next year. His impact is highly dependent on his ability not to play terrible defense though. it’s shocking to me how many bad plays he makes. Not because he’s lacking athleticism but just baseball smarts, but he did go to ASU…

    Frankly I don’t understand why Rojas is still in AAA Prielipp and Ober are not giving the team a chance to win. Rojas has the potential to give the Twins what Yesavage gave the Jays last year. This team’s roster management since the deadline has been extremely poor

    Baseball players go through hot and cold streaks more than they’ve ever gone through in the history of baseball. It’s up to the coaching to identify them and use that kind of stuff to their advantage to rest players up a little bit and coach them up a little bit

    Sabato against lefties would just make most logical sense. 1.300+ ops against them in AAA. The defense won’t be that much worse compared to Caratini at 1B (but it will be bad) Jackson back up to play the role of team manager just doesn’t make sense

    As usual the twins are simply dreadful against lefties so I don’t see him getting optioned. I’d love to find a way to give Aaron “1.300 ops against lefties” Sabato a look

    Love it as a reclamation project. Outside of this year he only ever pitched home in Coors. Velo fell off hard last year but worth a look

    Roden- 3-3 2B, BB- learn bench, buddy Larnach- .473 ops last 15 games- the perfect leadoff guy Watch Larnach reach safely 4 times

    Based on the fact that the twins have given Jackson all of four plate appearances in the last 2+ weeks it seems pretty clear the twins feel that way as well. He isn’t starting or pinch hitting because he’s benefited from some of the most insane BABIP luck over his last 170 PAs that I’ve ever seen. If Shelton had faith, he would have gotten some ABs during this stretch where the Twins offense has been flat.

    I think 2 reasons why. A) they wanted to be sure Jeffers was healthy B) Jackson doesn’t really have value. Even after a .740 ops last year nobody wanted him in late March when the Twins DFAd him. He’s had extreme BABIP luck 2025-2026 and he’s going to come back down to earth hard very soon.
