    If they don’t punish Castillo today lol His only plus pitch results-wise is the changeup so if lefties hold off that, they should be able to punish everything else. He’s legitimately one of baseballs worst starters this year and that’s with playing half his games in Seattle’s pitcher friendly park.

    The team has the worst defense metrics in baseball and Bell playing DH every day is a big part of that. They can’t hide guys at DH when he has to play there every day, while putting up an OPS+ of 107. It’s not worth it. Twins have to move on from some of these major league level outfielders as well. I think we have 9 now between AAA and MLB. 10 if you count Clemens. Take on some MLB contracts by moving some of these guys who don’t have room here next year, know that they’re going to have a lot of young guys in the lineup next year and use the open DH to improve team defense while still being a hopefully top 5 offense in the AL

    Rodriguez is playing CF every day right now in St. Paul. Jenkins isn’t playing CF much at all. I don’t see Jenkins coming up

    But it’s not the the opposite. It’s Shelton not looking at analytics and starting a right hand bat because they’re traditionally better against lefties.

    Kreidler .501 OPS in his last 30 games .580 ops against lefties starts both games vs lefties Roden 5/11 against lefties .850 ops AAA against lefties Bench Starting Kreidler both games because he has family there shoes this is an unserious team

    It’s not about what a player has done If a player has been struggling for weeks, you find a way to work other players into the starting lineup more often in hopes that they can get right It shouldn’t be this difficult The problem is that half their bench is catchers instead of Jenkins, Wallner, Sabato, Mendez…pick one

    Can’t wait for Roden to ride the bench again so that Larnach can get his 7th year to prove he’s worth more than 1 WAR a season and so that I can watch Byron Buxton move like my grandfather
