  1. Luis Garcia . . . just the guy you want up in a save situation? (Maybe as the hitting team)
  2. Good job, Royce. At this point, I'll take that every time.
  3. The Twins have walked 9 batters today and struck out only 7. In contrast, the Guardians have struck out 16 Twins, and walked only 3.
  4. Credits to the pitching. Two hitting the Guardians through nine innings is no small feat.
  5. One step at a time. We haven't had a hit since Buxton's leadoff homer in the first.
  6. I'm not watching the game, Who is the fifth infielder?
  7. There aren't any prospects of note coming up at first base. Also, he will likely be traded before September comes anyway.
  8. Josh Bell had a hot start, but he has cold lately. Shelton has still been hitting him cleanup pretty much every day anyway.
  9. I'm a bit confused why Martin is pinch hitting for Larnach rather than Wallner or Lewis last inning.
  10. I give the Twins about a 20% chance of winning any game that is tied in the 6th-8th innings with this bullpen.
  11. Remember this offseason, when we were talking about all the Starting Pitching depth we had. We basically just lost a whole major league caliber roatation from injuries. We lost three playoff caliber starters in Lopez, Bradley, and Abel along with a decent 4 or 5 on any rotation in David Festa. There is truly no such thing as too much pitching. Joey Gallo, anyone?
  12. Great article, but this is bad timing as he has had three guys thrown out at home in the last two games. Third base coaching is a tough job because you never notice them until they mess up.
  13. Wallner and/or Lewis need to be DFAed within the next couple weeks if they keep hitting like this. With Rodriguez and Jenkins hurt, Gonzalez is probably the next callup.
