    true but you gotta bounce back and the wild pitch didn't help...but Perk has struggled most of the yr as the closer although his numbers dont show it he's battled

    He has 11 or 12 starts..that's a pretty good chance and has no wins...he has'nt pitched well up here for whatever reason. He'll get another shot and I think when/if he finally gets that 1st win more will come he just has to trust his stuff at the ML level as much as at AAA, or maybe he isn't good enough to stick with the Twins..we'll see. I hope he does cuz we need starters obviously.

    Agree..15 hits and only 3 runs is almost unheard of and frankly inexcusable...the pen was due for a tough game but a few more hits w/risp this yr and we could easily have 4-5 more wins even with our brutal starting pitching.

    What??? I would'nt even use 1 of our most effective relivers unless it's a close game late innings...More likely start Swarzak for 3-4 then Go Gray/Fien. Robertson?Waldrop or a starter who has a bullpen day if you get desperate. Depends on what happens the next few days, it's entirely possible the starters could get knocked around in Texas and we'll need Deduno or French cuz the pen is gassed yet again.

    Yeah IDK what to do with him...I'm on recored saying let him work it out here and he has shown flashes defensively despite the errors but he's really struggled at the dish..would'nt hate the prospect of Florimon for a few weeks I guess.

    I agree with nick and John...I am suprised, Hendriks has better stuff he just has to trust it, but like you said maybe it's something specific.

    I know the offense has'nt been the problem for the most part but they they leave a ton of men on base.

    Perkins has not been sharp lately but he always seems to get that key strikeout when needed.

    I think the Twins patience with Burnett is paying off, he's been nearly untouchable the last few weeks.
