  1. I guess they ran out of diamond dry Bring this game behind the shed and put it out of its misery, plz
  2. Thanks, now I can shirk work doing a Wikipedia deep dive instead of watching this turd of a game
  3. We had em in the 90s, then Congress got all grumpy about it
  4. I didn't know that! I was just referring to that brilliant documentary they made about the Browns' 2014 draft
  5. Vontae Mack no matter what
  6. I wish there were a facepalm reaction here
  7. I do appreciate that Perkins doesn't try to convince me that every Twins pitcher is prime Pedro Martinez
  8. There are those that might suggest there are 7 million arguments to be made to keep Paddack in the rotation
  9. Robert's getting killed on the bottom of the zone this series
  10. If the callup is Gasper ... how shorthanded were they, really?
  11. There's a nonzero chance their homers are down this year cuz no one wants to put that stupid thing on
  12. Everyone's offense was similar to the Twins that year. It's why they lowered the mound the next year
  13. I'm surprised you don't like Papa John's since you're such a ketchup aficionado and that's what they use for sauce
  14. A) There's no guarantee that a mild run of success (a return to fringe contention) would prevent new owners from installing their own people in power B) There's no guarantee that continued suckitude will result in changes, especially if the Pohlads remain in ownership. It took 4 straight 90 loss seasons to can Gardy, though the GM position had its own issues over that stretch. C) Winning baseball is more fun to watch than losing baseball Ergo, I pick option 2. This is a different answer than what I think should happen. An organizational reset is needed. But I want to see them win anyway. I was indoctrinated too young to not want to see them win
  15. I think he pitched better than the results suggest and was getting a little unlucky or missing by a thin margin 60 foot hit, full count walk, full count walk, dominant strikeout, weak groundout to score a run, and then the only solid contact he allowed wound up in Buxton's glove. I'd like to see more whiffs, struggling to put them away sometimes, but he's still pitching well. Velo was good tonight
  16. And once again, Larnach renders Keaschall's steal meaningless
  17. I like the aggressiveness from Keaschall, even though I think Larnach coulda made it to second carrying Correa on his back with that pitcher's delivery home
  18. How do we do thumbs up or down with no thumbs? Also: sure, why not
  19. Darn. I took the assignment really seriously too
  20. Buxton is very fast Correa is an impressive fielder for someone so slow. Both are definitely top 15 hitters in the entire Twins organization. How'd I do?
