  1. You're not imagining things 13 fewer base runners - and 8 fewer in scoring position - than league average for his # of PAs
  2. I think they were tied with the Reds for dead last in road city, not ambience (from the article): The Cubs were first in stadium ambience, and the Chicago White Sox last. The Texas Rangers were first in facilities, and the Orioles last. The Padres were first in road city, and the Minnesota Twins and Reds tied for last. Look at that, Chicago both first and last in stadium ambience I'm guessing "road city" is code for "downtown nightlife" with a sprinkle of "weather"
  3. They're Hambinos - they can handle their hooch
  4. I have it on in the background while in the middle of bedtime negotiations with a terroristic 3 year old
  5. He's 6-2?? Must be an optical illusion on my telly
  6. If he comes out here it technically goes up!
  7. Kendry has a smooth-looking throwing motion for a little guy
  8. Great synergy between analyst discussion and game action on Buck's homer
  9. But he definitely woulda pulled a starter after 4 so we're halfway there!
  10. Apparently Rojas likes inducing weak contact to the right side
  11. Split the difference between third and home perfectly
  12. One advantage of not having a closer: the 14 blown saves of Ron Davis from 1984 probably remains out of reach. Probably
  13. If they really wanted to have some fun with the fans, they should've had the same teams open the season in DC
  14. That outcome for Wallner was always gonna be a true one
  15. Maybe the Reds are just a juggernaut 🤷‍♂️
  16. Burning your bench in the 6th cuz of Anthony Banda
  17. I didn't think Royce was gonna make that play. Nice job Royce (and Clemens)
  18. I've been burned too often - when it comes to gymnastics gambling, I make Krusty the Klown look like Jimmy the Greek
  19. Between this and preschool gymnastics, I’m not loving my sports viewing options at the present moment
  20. It depends on the timeline we're talking about. The longer that timeline, the more optimistic I become If we're talking 2026, I'd probably take the over on the 69* wins I guessed coming into the season, but not much over *Selling at the deadline was baked into this figure
  21. Juan Soto is eligible to come off the IL today - not clear yet whether or not he actually will Take your time Juan, make sure you're 100%. It's a long season
