    Max is fool's gold. I know the Twins wanted to clear a path for Julien (although constantly pinch hitting for him defeats the purpose) and potentially Lee, but I would've traded Max before Polanco.

    I'm still firmly in the camp of fire Popkins more than I am this line-up sucks. It's not 'this' bad. This is a replay of last season. Twins went for the banana in the tailpipe with the ALDS win and gave this clown another chance.

    And what point in their career did they trade for them? If they acquired them as prospects, and had the system in place to develop them, that's not the same as trading for guys like Lopez, Gray and Paddack - already established. Maybe you can give them credit for Joe Ryan but I'm not really banking on him doing much.

    Loved Morneau as a player but not so much in the booth. Not sure he's capable of having a negative or objective thought about the Twins.

    If he did it on his own, its because his confidence to start the season is hot - couldn't hit a baseball with a redwood tree right now. You'd think the manager would have some feel for that.

    Paddack as a fourth starter, there's nothing wrong with it. The problem is, you already have 4th starters in Ryan and Ober and a fringe 5th starter in Varland. Oh, and a line up that has scored 11 runs thus far. Good times.

    On the bright side, we can stop worrying about the rotation because with this offense, you could trot out the 1992 Atlanta Braves' staff and it wouldn't matter.

    Rocco has zero feel for the game. He goes into it with his mind already made up - he was pinch hitting for Julien the moment a lefty came in.

    Whatever the Twins' line up consists of, they'll underperform so if they had AAA+ hitters, they'd produce like they were AA or A.

    Ross is a AAA+ arm and the Twins can't get anything going.

    5 games in and they look lifeless. You take on the personality of your manager. Going to be a long season with Rocco and Popkins at the helm.
