The Red Sox have added some depth to their rotation, acquiring lefty James Paxton from the Dodgers in exchange for minor league infielder Moises Bolivar, the teams announced Friday.
Bolivar's a 17 year old prospect in Boston's system. Twins could have presumably offered more, but with the salary restrictions being what they are, I'm not surprised they didn't get Paxton. In fairness to the front office, Paxton doesn't really move the needle.
