    Seems telling that he was chosen to pinch run and not pinch hit in the 10th yesterday. Choosing instead to have Gasper, Fitz, and Martin bat. One of the weirder Rocco decisions I’ve seen in a while. Not sure he’ll be able to put it all together while playing with the big club so I’m hoping he can figure it out in the off-season. Royce should be part of the core moving forward but only if he can hit and field.

    No need to rush Culpepper but also no need to not get a little excited about his future. I’d say leave him in AA for the rest of 25. Maybe he plays in the fall league, maybe not. Give him an invite to spring training. Start 26 with the Saints and then he’s only a Green Line ride away from Target Field.

    Outman - Could be cheap(ish) Buxton insurance if he pans out. Abel, Bradley, Festa, SWR - need some starts to size up the 26 rotation.

    Gleeman: Sounds like there's a good chance the Twins will activate Byron Buxton (ribs) during the upcoming Yankees series in New York, perhaps as soon as Monday.

    Pereda should be doing any catching, he’s an actual catcher. Outman Keirsey and Miranda are the only other guys on the 40. I think I read somewhere why Outman went straight to AAA but I cannot find the article. There is this: AB AVG HR RBI SB OPS 39 .103 2 4 0 .487

    Bobby N: Matt Wallner was placed on the paternity list. Carson McCusker will fill his spot on the Twins’ active roster.

    Ryan has also been injured the last few seasons. He’s at 132 IP so far after completing 135 in 24. The most for him was 161 in 23. He’s on pace to pitch in more games and innings than he ever has before. It’d be great to see him finish the season healthy.
