    Beef Stew had a 4.91 era in 4 outings with the Dodgers and is now on the IL. I didn’t like the trade at the time but Stewart has already pitched more innings in 25 than he ever has in MLB. Jury is still out on this trade.

    Yes. They’ve gone with MAT, Magoo, and Bader the last three years. In steps Outman. Keep that payroll at Pirates level, Joe P is pleased with himself.

    We are 15 days out from expanded rosters. Who’s coming up? Only rules- they have to be on the 40 and the roster can only have 14 pitchers. Pitcher - goes to SWR, Pablo. Whoever is most ready by then. I’m sick of these BP games so add a starter. End the season with 5 man rotation - Ryan, Ober, Matthews, SWR, Lopez. Batter - give McCusker another shot? I’d rather do something outside the box like see what Fedko can do. He’s a rule 5 guy and needs to be protected if they like him. Love to hear other names/ideas from y’all as well.

    Dan Hayes/Gleeman both reporting that he needs to ramp up in AAA and then he may be in line to make 3 to 4 starts by the end of the year. Pablo wants a close to normal off season and the Twins, if they are going to shop him, will want other teams to see that he is back. My hope is that we find out who these limited partners are fairly quickly and that they are smart and can convince Joe Pohlad that Buck, Ryan, Lopez, Keaschall can keep us fans interested.

    Thanks for including Fedko. It will be really interesting to see what they do with him. Add to 40 man and bring up when the rosters expand to 28 (probably not)

    Gleeman: Twins placed Alan Roden on the injured list and called up James Outman from Triple-A St. Paul. Outman was acquired from the Dodgers for Brock Stewart at the trade deadline.
