Like what Royals do with Salvy playing C and 1B. Maybe Jeffers could learn and we could keep his bat in the lineup more often? He’s also tall 🤣

Tigers look legit. We could be as many as 8 games back by the end of the weekend. Then we still have Mets and ATL before a day off 🤮
  3. thelanges5
Zebby pitched last night and is in same rotation as Pablo. Went 5 innings, allowed 2 runs with 9 Ks.

Scheduled for MRI today is most updated thing I could find.

Offense is so bad it magnifies all of the other errors. Pitching and defense have to be perfect since we cannot score runs. 2nd worst team in MLB since Aug18 and showing no signs of life. Rough to say the least.

Guardos walk off the WSox 1-0 with a single and 3 straight walks in the bottom of the ninth.

Update: batting second and playing second for 7 innings

Larnach and Julien in for some lefty on lefty action tonight!
  9. thelanges5
Saw a skeet that Brooks Lee’s rehab is moving up to St Paul. Saints at home this week but haven’t posted a lineup yet for tonight.

Ump scorecard even gave us .61 runs so the offense only scored 1.39 🤮

More from Gleeman: Matt Wallner and Harrison Bader have combined to hit .300 with a .940 OPS in 67 plate appearances. All other Twins batters have combined to hit .177 with a .502 OPS in 296 plate appearances.

Did I forget to mention sample size 🤣
  13. thelanges5
Twins will be looking for their first hit off of a lefty starter this season.
  14. thelanges5
From a Gleeman Skeet: Twins are now 15-34 since last August 18 for MLB's second-worst record during that time, ahead of only the White Sox at 13-34.

They need to wake up soon or they’ll be buried by the end of this 12 game stretch. Who’s going to be the spark plug? Not much energy being shown on the field or in the dug out. Bader, Castro? Should be Correa but he hasn’t shown up.

Blewett contract selected with McCaughan DFAd

    Blewett up McCaughan DFA

Lee started and played 7 innings at Ft Myers yesterday. When he comes up Julien goes down.
  20. thelanges5
If they can’t win at least 3 out of 7 they’ll be in trouble. Lucky the central hasn’t been playing that well as whole. That more than likely won’t continue.

Peter, you used to be the most optimistic Twins Daily member. It’s sad to see that the Twins have gotten the best of you.
  22. thelanges5
Aside from three months last year, the product on and off the field has been pretty poor since the playoff run in 23.
  23. thelanges5
Gotta do their best to move on from this one. Will be a fun plane ride to KC. Gotta go 2-2 at Kaufman.
  24. thelanges5
    3-6 start, just like 2024. 🤮
  25. thelanges5
Rocco didn’t tell Jax to serve up a 2-run homer. He did that on his own. Also Alvarez is freakin good.
