    You are absolutely tight, but that's exactly how I read it hence my own reaction to the OP. Historically, he has been very mediocre. I have a ton of optimism he has now turned a corner and will continue to have above average success.

    You're not sure? Clearly the OP was indicating that because we have lost several games due to our pen, that was evidence that we should add to our pen. My post suggested his relation was not a correlation. Nowhere did I say I wouldn't like to sign a reliever, simply that to point at that piece of information and draw that conclusion might not be valid.

    I have nothing to back this up, but I assume every team in baseball has lost several games due to their pen so far this year.

    Houston's lineup is great, and Toronto's offense is aldo very good. He is throwing very well right now.

    Oh yeah, Nathan we got in the Pierzynsky trade. Another guy I wouldn't kind having on the team again so we could trade him.

    Can we unload Chuck Knobloch again? That was awesome. Also, for those of us who have taken to denigrating the rule 5, let us remember both Joe Nathan and Johan Santana.

    I said it in a game thread recently. Step on their throats. Take it. Demand it. Momentum is real. So is Confidence. Attitude. Swagger. I have been a Twins fan since '85. And I have loved every minute of it. But post '91, I can honestly say I didn't feel any of those words above myself, and I didn't feel my team did either...until this year. We are witnessing the beginning of something great.

    A solid statement. But there is something to be said for confidence, attitude, swagger. Winning breeds more winning, but only if you feel and act like a winner. Some, heck many of the past good Twins teams to me lacked those traits. And I am a huge homer.
