Looks like pretty crap attendance at Target again.?
  2. Drunk_Goose
Archer is annoying to watch pitch at times for sure.
  3. Drunk_Goose
I know only the first inning, but this here homemade chicken pie is ready to throw in the oven!

Just solidifying his place as my favorite player?

We are more than good enough to win the division and then see what happens from there. Looking at WS winners from years past, if we add one or two pieces, we are right there with them? Are we as good as the Braves were last year? Right there with them and so on and so forth. This is baseball, anything can happen.

No doubt. Next question is: What's your beer of preference? Leinenkugel man myself(All their varities).

Donaldson's always been a prick, nothing new here. A good rule of thumb is don't say something if you are not sure how the other person will take it.

Fantastic win from the boys! Loving the down but never out attitude from us so far. Now 5 games ahead in the division. Love love love it!

Great win guys. Now a 4.5 game lead in the division and let's wrap up this sweep tomorrow.

That's fantastic. I was that kid several years ago when my brother came back from Iraq.

Great job hitting tonight from the boys.

Pitching is easiest biggest concern for me. Have been ok so far this season, but if we want to make a push and keep the lead in the division and make some noise in the playoffs I think we need to improve in that area for sure.

That's why most preseason predictions are garbage.

Did they even get a lot of fans during their hey day with Henderson, Canseco, etc? I think folks in Oakland simply do not care about the team. Raiders were king in Oakland before they moved, and the A's were always their little sister as it were as far as fans go and that hasn't changed even with Raiders now in Vegas. I truly think they will move the team, probably to the aforementioned Vegas lol. I just don't see how they think they can get another stadium when they can't fill even half of the one they are in now.

Just a thread to post positive things about your own life or the world in general. We all need some positivity at times. I'll start: This morning got offered a promotion at work and accepted it! Been wanting this position for quite a long time and thought they were going to give it to another candidate. Very very happy right now.

I love Kiriloff and how he plays the game. I hope he can come back and contribute at some point. Excellent write up as per the norm!

I think you are reading too much into this friend. I really don't think with Lewis being gone for a week or two that all of a sudden we will go into a downward spiral. I know you are not neccessarily saying that, but just in general I think our bats will be ok until he gets back. He will come back, at least that is the hope, as a better more all around player and can contribute on other areas on the diamond. I see no big negatives with this move unless his self-esteem is really harmed because of this, but I have faith he will not let this adversely affect him and keep on keeping on.

True Detective first season incredible, second season and three not as good but decent enough.. Another show on there I'd recommend is Snowpiercer. Great show and based on the movie that came out in 2013.

Hate that as thought he could be a nice part of the pitching staff, sigh. But of course good luck to him, hope he comes back from it ok.
  20. Drunk_Goose
It was a nice hamburger one. But no worries, about to munch on a chicken sandwich leftover from today's lunch as there wasn't enough lasagna to fill me up lol!?
  21. Drunk_Goose
Well good win boys. Off day tomorrow then on to KC. Take care all! Off now to enjoy some homemade lasagna?
  22. Drunk_Goose
Is it just me or does this game seem like it is taking absolutely forever?
  23. Drunk_Goose
Hey even I could get a hit off this guy lol. Put me in coach!
  24. Drunk_Goose
Tough call but overall not that surprising. Lewis is ready for the Major's and he will get his chance again. I just hope this doesn't affect him psychologically and he loses confidence in himself

I'm fine with Correa not being activated tonight or even this series for that matter. We have enough to make it a productive series without risking him. I only want him back when he absolutely 100 percent fit, not 95.
