  1. You do realize you can keep scrolling if you disagree with the content of my posts instead of always feeling the need to reply.😉I've seen enough games where he fouled off pitch after pitch after pitch and eventually either worked a walk or got a hit to base my opinion.
  2. Giving Buxton the extra at bats makes sense since the leadoff hitter gets something like 20+ extra at bats over the season, but I would rather see him hit with runners on since he has power and doesn't hit into double plays.
  3. Polanco would be my pick as well, with Correa then Buxton.
  4. Yep, #17 in the AL just like I said. Thanks for corroborating my info with another site that you deem more reliable!
  5. Great story with him beating cancer as a kid and doing so well for stretches last season. Best of luck in Miami!
  6. Ranked #17 in the AL in 2022 and 2nd on the Twins behind Correa. http://stats.washingtonpost.com/mlb/getleaders.asp?rank=039
  7. The 2019 team had multiple guys with career years. This could be a first to third place team. I would still pick Cleveland/Chicago as the favorites.
  8. I am wondering who will be the leadoff, get on base guy for Buxton and Correa to hit behind. I'm not seeing a great answer at this moment.
  9. He also makes way too many mistakes in the field as well. Keep him in AAA to try to develop then reevaluate him with a full season in St. Paul under his belt.
  10. The proof of the pudding is in the eating. My biggest question is who will be hitting leadoff since Arraez held that spot so well last season.
  11. Nice article, we'll miss the long at-bats and battles, hopefully Lopez will become Johan Santana 2.0. (We can hope, right?)
  12. Lopez looks like he will be a good clubhouse guy and if he can be a #2 guy behind Gray I think this will turn out well. I hated the trade at first, but as the days go by, I am warming up to it.
  13. Good glove; bat, eh not so much. He's pretty speedy in center, I've seen him play with the Royals a number of times at Kauffman the past couple years.
  14. Good glove, not a great hitter.
  15. I would hope if they trade someone like Kepler it would be for bullpen depth.
  16. I'm curious to see if SWR and Balazovic see any time in the Majors this season. I'm guessing if they do something went terribly wrong.
  17. I think you are absolutely correct. I think Miranda is keeping 3b warm right now until Lee slides in in 2024.
  18. Last season they threw him in to put out fires regardless of inning, I would like to see them make him the closer and use Lopez and Alcala and possibly Jax as the set up men. All 3 of those guys can hit upper 90s.
  19. I'm trying to see the positives in this trade but I have this nagging feeling about the rallies as well. Trading your leadoff hitter opens a huge hole in my opinion and they don't have a great option to plug into that hole.
  20. I wanna get a Miranda jersey but as soon as I get one with 64 he will change it because that's how my luck goes
  21. I like what he showed last season, he hit everywhere he played.
  22. Wallner or Larnach would be my early guess.
