  1. Agree, he's actually started playing better so IMO I think we let him start the series with NY and go from there.
  2. He's been playing better, let's see how he does against the NYY then make the decision.
  3. Who would have thought we would have an embarrassment of depth after last season?
  4. He provides depth in tbe outfield, first base and DH, I'm sure he will get opportunities to play at all 3.
  5. It seems like they may be forced to, I think they have better options right now who may be more consistent in those high pressure situations.
  6. It seems like every day there is a new guy who comes up big, whether with a clutch hit or shutting down the opponents lineup.
  7. Agree with you, Arraez needs to be in the lineup everyday. Polanco's numbers have been down and hasn't been sharp defensively, Gio has been great and should be in the conversation.
  8. Your questions are absolutely valid and most of them are exactly what many of us are thinking, for me the Jax move made no sense.
  9. With Megill, Pagan, and Thielbar coming back i think they could have stretched him a little more. But we got the W and thats the most important thing.
  10. What's scary is that 5 runs isn't a big enough cushion to feel like the bullpen won't blow it.
  11. I'm of the opinion and maybe among the minority that Jax should have came in for one more inning since he got through on 9 pitches.
  12. It shouldn't have been so close, but I'll take it over yesterdays performance.
  13. I'd rather see them miss the playoffs than be swept in the wildcard round..... again.
  14. Cleveland is currently in 2nd and winning right now, if we lose and they win the lead is 3.5 games I believe. They've got the pitching to contend but to your point, their hitting has to pick up.
  15. I found it amazing that a team that went 3-7 over 10 games didn't lose any ground in a division race. You're right, 81-85 wins may win this division.
  16. Great podcast today. Their conversation about the Pagan/Duran debate was quite interesting.
  17. Hated it at the time, but almost a year later I think, with his inconsistencies, the Twins did well.
