Unfortunately you're right. There is the possibility this trade looks even worse in coming years due to the years of control situation.

Probably the worst consistency behind the plate I've seen in a game all season. It's hard to win games when you're playing against the umpire behind the plate as well. Glad they were able to keep mostly cool heads after Taylor was tossed.

I was salty when they let Eddie go in 2020 and even more salty now. Glad to see he got a ring in ATL but would love to have seen him stay and Kepler go. Oh well.

At the end of May my wife and I made a trip to see the Wind Surge play. I didn't recognize most of the prospects but we quickly became fans of a young man named Yoyner Fajardo. That game Fajardo went 4/5 with a double, stole 2 bases and scored 2 runs. Fast forward to 2 weeks ago. We bought one of his MILB cards off eBay and figured we would take the chance and send it to him TTM to try to get an auto. And lo and behold today, look what showed up! How about that! Lifelong fans now!

Considering the last time he played first was as a teenager in the Dominican league and was a Gold Glove Finalist I would say yes, superbly.

He has a good attitude, fans love him, and he plays the game the right way. The fact he played 1st last year because there was a need and he did so superbly says a lot about him. I love seeing him succeed in Miami but it hurts my heart lol

This was a post on my blog, not an article from Twins Daily. Any criticism can be directed at me as the poster not to the website as a whole. The nice thing about a place like this is the sharing of ideas and the discussion that takes place. Because of the level of emotion involved with this trade albeit right or wrong it will continue to be a topic of discussion and everyone seems to have an opinion about it. We won't know whether or not this trade is a win or a loss for either team until many years from now. The purpose of the article was how bad it is looking as of Monday night. In 6 weeks the story could be completely different.

I am taking the Over. The schedule between now and then has Detroit who just won 3/4, Atlanta who is good, Baltimore who is good, and KC (only 'on paper' winnable series).
