    After they go 60-21 the second half win the Wild Card game and have a good showing in the playoffs I don't see much changing from the current lineup.

    Not that this isn't a valid point to remain partisan but I think we're seeing right now Supreme Court nominations are being treated differently. If I was a Democrat I seriously would not take up a single Trump nominee without a vote on Obama's nominee. I sure hope Republicans are smart on this and give the guy a vote so the Democrats can play that game of chicken especially if it appears Clinton will win.

    I understand why this cycle produced someone more like what Trump supporters see in Trump then say Jeb Bush. Problem is as far as I can tell what they see in Trump is based off a lie. Even his over the top racist rhetoric feels like a lie. Of course a lot of people who showed up to support Trump never would of showed up for Cruz Walker or Rand Paul but even so the vote totals of Cruz showed a strong desire for meaningful change in direction of the Republican party. I've been calling Trump a democrat all along but that's probably not the right term. He might not be to the left of the Bush/McCain types today but he is worse in his approach. 8 years of a Democrat plus nominating Clinton should have made this election a great chance for the Republicans and maybe it still is even with Trump if Clinton can't talk her way out of her troubles the way her husband could but with Trump the Republican party goes backwards win or lose. The only reason I could vote for him is because he might be impeachable from both sides but if his running mate is Gingrich or Christie then we gain little.

    Despite the further drop the following Monday the Dow is just about back to pre vote levels.

    I wish I was a more active investor so I could take advantage of these crazy panic sell offs. If a company was based in Britain this might have an effect on them but I'm not even sure it would be negative. The market will rebound and then some before the end of next week.

    I wish they could report the actual details of the trade. Player's to be named can be better then C or D prospects but without naming a player or giving me a draft pick like rating of the return you have to assume the worst.

    Balls 50 feet from the catcher you swung and rather then hustle or even trot to first you want to count on a bad call from the ump!!!

    Polls on the issue favor Democrats, but passion favors Republicans. The do something versus hey they won't do anything argument probably plays better then actually passing these laws and dealing with the fallout when they don't work. I think this issue is a slight net positive for Democrats playing it the way they are but you never want to drive Republican turnout when there are things (Trump) keeping Republicans away.

    Wait the Twins went back to only 1 run after that Home run? I'm confused, there is a 0 next to the one but I've never seen that before and don't understand.

    I'm gonna check some minor league stats. Wish me luck in finding hope I haven't paid much attention since Berrios was sent down.

    Even my irrational hatred for Paul Molitor couldn't get me to ever think it would be this bad. Of course I fell into the trap of thinking the pitching was average.

    The sad thing is nearly halfway through the season that was one of the 25 best performances of the season

    That intentional walk was embarrassing. I can't wait for the day when the runner from third just steals home when they are throwing the ball ten feet wide.

    Decided I'd give the start of the Twins game a chance today. Then I saw a commercial for a bat flip contest sponsered by MLB. Don't think I'll be watching the Twins today after seeing that crap.

    That must mean he hasn't gone to treatment, I'm assuming Allen is in treatment right now.

    He wasn't fired, knowing this franchise they would bring him back next year even if they fired everyone else.

    The Twins must be on pace to contend for the record of most innings trailed in major league history. It's gotta be 9 innings 10% of the time if not more.
