    Time to put Juliens glove in mothballs. Supposedly at the end of 2023 Rocco told him he could improve as a fielder if he worked very hard at it. No results yet. I guess he just isn't going to be a good fielder.

    Thanks Cody. As a Twins fan since they arrived in Bloomington I now feel that hope for a good team is again lost for multiple years. Hope that David can again slay Goliath. But David just traded all of his rocks to Goliath for pebbles. Pebbles that may some day become rocks but will be cheaper non the less. The wounds of lost hope are still burning and the salve(the supposed overwhelmed by prospects) are no where to be seen except for one, who looks like a deer in the headlights on the MLB field. I know it's still early (where have we heard this recently) since the transactions but this really really looks like a penny pinching/sell for parts move and there is no way around it.

    a one run victory that the 'new look' bullpen was able to hold. A nice win for the Twins. It will be a week or so before the shock of Bloody Thursday wears off for me. I guess I held too much hope for the roster this year.

    I agree with Aggies7, Clemens is the only fringe guy I want on the team next year. Plus he can pitch......

    I'm starting to think that MLB is getting like the NBA and NFL. Highest paid player is the boss bull in the locker room and gets anointed 'team leader'.

    Provich mentioned about a month ago that Correa spends two hours before every game getting his feet ready to play in the field. Having had plantar fasciitis I'm willing to give Correa a pass on his struggles. I will miss his defense and understand that the Twins were paying him shortstop money, not third base money so he should be playing shortstop.
