    Always hate losing those low scoring games where the runs score in the first inning, then nothing more. But I suppose that is better than giving up 11 in the first inning.

    The strike zone used in the graphic here is not the same strike zone used on the tv monitors we watch the game on which stop at the high belt. Which the umps cannot see. So who is to say what was missed or not.

    I love your middle paragraph. Berrios doesnt seem to be able to execute a game plan. Watching Maeda execute is art. Berrios is more of a finger painter.

    How many guys retooled their swings last season for that juiced up baseball? And are we now seeing the results from that as we are not using those baseballs this season? Kepler used to have one of the sweetest swings in the game. Now his lazy fly balls, and Eddie's, are easy outs. Is there enough season left to retool again?

    Some guys, kepler most notably, retooled their swings last season to better reach the seats with the juiced up baseball. This year I am seeing many lofty fly ball outs.
